Noelle Mook was educated at Iowa State University where she received a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2004. While at Iowa State she served as a peer mentor and juror. She received several design awards, including the RDG Bussard Dikis design award for the outstanding senior thesis project. In addition, she volunteered for the National Parks System to help reduce the human impact on the natural environment. Before joining substance in 2006, Noelle worked with Herbert Lewis Kruse Blunck Architecture in Des Moines and Neumann Monson Architects in Iowa City. While with Neumann Monson she worked on several projects for the University of Iowa including the Kinnick Stadium Renovation and the West Campus Tennis Facility. With substance she has collaborated on parking and transportation projects for the University of Northern Iowa and the City of Cedar Rapids. Noelle received her LEED® accreditation in 2005 and worked on LEED® certified projects with the City of Davenport’s Police Facility and the North Central Junior High School. In addition to her professional activities, Noelle currently volunteers as a student advisor and a visiting design juror at Iowa State University.
