Tim Hickman has directed the design of dozens of higher education, athletic and transportation projects over the last 30 years. Award winning projects at the University of Iowa include the Stew and LeNore Hansen Football Performance Center, Blank Honors Center, Melrose Parking Facility and Newton Road Parking Facility, winner of a National Honor Award for Architecture from the American Institute of Architects. In addition Tim led the design of the Pappajohn Higher Education Center in Des Moines and the Multimodal Parking Facility at the University of Northern Iowa. He has taught architectural design at Iowa State University and received the Design Achievement Award from ISU in 2012. His architectural work is complimented by service to the community, with volunteer work for the Des Moines Art Center, the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation, and the Des Moines Public Library Foundation.
